Finally picking up my Red hot 1ss

Picking it up Saturday morning on my way to our companies annual meeting at Lake of the Ozarks. Its a 1ss A8 with NPP and Ash Gray interior. I have a set of KMC Black Spins that will be here about Tuesday of next week. So I'll have a set of Silver staggered 20's forsale. Hoping someone comes out with some lowering springs soon. I talked to BMR and its gonna still be a couple months. I'll post some pics of the car at the lake.

It was a tough decision going from a 2ss rs 15 to a 1ss 16. Mine 15 was very loaded and loved all the stuff on it. I'll probably miss the sunroof the most.

How's the difference between 16 and 15 beside the tech major or nah

I just went tonight and drove it tonight after it came in. They still have to detail it tomorrow. Man there is nothing that resembles the 15 except the bodies are similar. The motor is a serious bad ass and A8 is just bitchin. I've driven the M6 gen 6 and so glad I waited to find an Auto. The shifts are very quick in the auto mode, I didn't have a chance to try out the paddles very much, but seemed ok. My 15 shifts pretty quick, but nothing like the A8. Even the cloth interior was nice, nothing like the leather but that give me an extra 5k or more to make it my own and not like everybody elses. I pick it up about 10am on Saturday. I can tell its gonna be a fun ride.

How do you switch on the NPP, this is the first NPP my dealer has had, they don't have a clue how to switch it. Tell me how it works

Go to settings then engine sound management and check what mode you want. Uncheck auto if you don't want it to be linked to your drive mode settings.

Thanks, I just watched a video on youtube on a c7 vet. Once I pick it up I'll work on learning the new thing I didn't have on my G5. I am so stoked after driving it tonight. Just 12 hours and gonna do some driving. I had to have it brought in from another dealer and the driver that picked it up was just amazed with the engine. He said it had a slight vibration at 135mph, 140 it smoothed out. Ha

Whatda? He took your new ride up to 140? So much for break in. Id be pissed. I hope he was just kidding. I was the same way when I got mine. I couldn't stop driving it. I'd find any excuse to go out and drive around.
