Any good tint shops in N NJ?

And whats a good % to do all around? (I dont even know if higher % means darker or lighter )

I don't want it to be super dark.

generally a lower % number is going to be darker, its really reffering to how much light gets let in.

for example a clear window with no tint lets in 100% of the light, a window tinted half as much would be considered to have a 50% tint on it. and a window that lets in 35% of the light would be considered to have a 35% tint and so on. limo tint is something liek 5% because it only lets in something like 5% of the light.

Be careful in jersey though, the cops around certain towns will hassle you.. one place i know of thats good but a little pricey is zeigbarts out on route 23 down by kosco harley and the home depot just before 287.

I see, thanks! I'll look them up. Debating doing the back window 30% or lower, and the front sides 50% ish. Or just do 50% all around.

Window tinting was next on my to-do list but I've seen so many warnings from other posters that I've decided to put it on hold for a while.

Good luck though if you go ahead with it. The tinted cars look sharp.

Thanks, its the first thing i want to do when i get it. I know i might get pullled over if i tint the front windows, so might just tint them a little lighter, or the whole car lighter so it blends.

Then I want to get the gill accents and bow ties. Any suggestions on where to get those?

Good site with state tint law info - http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/; for New Jersey - http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/NJ/

I'm not considering tinting at this time...

Yeah I'm already running without a front plate so I've decided not to push it. Love what the tinted cars look like though.

Lorenzo Tint NY is one of the best in the tri-state.. he's in the bronx.. but he hand cuts the tints right onto your window.... no computers, no precuts... hands down best tinting around.

+1 - I've been sans plate since day 1 and don't plan on putting it on unless someone comes up with a better solution than what I've ssen so far... You're right on not adding the tint to compound the good officer's ticket $ value if stopped...

I have a 2000 camaro that is black with dark tint all around. Only place I really got hassled for it was cedar grove, where i live. Other cops have better things to do. Also, the tint on my rear window severely distorted visibility. Was that because the window was so dark, or because of bad quality tint. I want to make sure I do it correctly on my 10, although I don't mind people next to me staring. =]. Visibilty is worse to begin with on the 10, so I dont mind spending more on a higher quality job.
