From the back of the bulb holder, it is 3 inches to the deflector, 5 inches to the projector lens. I took a picture of the back with the bulb out and directly down into the projector.

I don't know how long the HID bulbs are, but I have to wait anyways, unless a vendor will do a trade with me.

Got fresh batteries in my camera and about to start taking stuff apart.

After cussing out who ever designed the camaro's front end, I have finished installing the headlights. Here are some preview pictures, I am too tired to get some good ones. Just remember, I have V-LED turn signal bulbs that are switch back from white to amber.

With fresh daylight, I checked to make sure everything was installed correctly and to make sure no loose parts were around. My hood wasn't adjusted correctly (was lower then the front), but its fixed now.

The build quality on the lights seems stronger then the OEM halogen to me. The only 2 problems I have with the headlights are the turn signal bulb sockets, for some reason the V-LED ones won't work, but stock will. I took the stock holder and put it in the new headlight and it works perfectly.

Second thing is they should have at least put a halogen bulb that gives off a white color instead of yellow. That is a pretty cheap fix to put a new halogen bulb in, but will require some work for HID.

I followed this guide:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64375
to remove the front end. To remove the headlights, its just 4x 10mm bolts, 2 on the top facing down, 2 on the bottom facing aft. On the driver side, the wires are held to the headlight by something that grips the headlight pretty hard (don't ask me, I'm a computer programmer). I used a screwdriver to pry them off.

More pictures to come after my K&N CAI comes in. I have to also take pictures of my AAC LED sidemarkers and those eagle eye LED tail lights.
