Project Flash
Well considering my 45th comes with carbon flash paint guess I'll nickname her the flash.
Started with a bone stock 45th anniversary I purchased with 6,800 miles Current plans are to keep it a mild street car as I already have a SRT4 I Primarily use for drag racing. Installed some Speed Engineering Long tubes over the weekend and am thrilled to have a throaty v8 exhaust note once again. Ordered a RotoFab cold air intake which will be here Thursday and installed. Next will be cams which I am looking at BTR Stage 3, open to suggestions trying to maximize horsepower but retain drivability. |

Decided I was tired of the added heat soak from all the plastic covers so I removed them now just to get some other things cleaned up in the bay

Nice 45th and welcome aboard!
Yep, the mod bug has bit you early, but I can sympathize. I had mine a total of 24 hours before the mods began. Now, 6 months later, I shipped her off for more power. LOL! What are you going to do with all those wires?

The plan is to do a wiretuck and hide as much as I can without extending the harness by hand. Maybe eventually. But for now I am going to relocate the coils and get some valve covers and fuel rails to distract you from looking at all the wires till that gets done

After a nice washing of the engine bay to remove all the dust and such.
These are the places I would like to work on the most the coils, figure out what to doin the area of the fuse box, and the harness laying on top of the heads. |

Did some wiretucking
Put the injector harness under the fuel rails, the EVAP line under the throttle body. Is there a better place to move the EVAP to? |

Installing these as soon as they get here. I like a clean engine bay and figured these would clean it up a bit and look nice

Got my fuel rail flipped around only cussed a few times. Dropped a clip into the heat shield had to fish it out, then forgot I needed to disconnect the EVAP line and when I tried to undo it with tension I broke one of the gm quick disconnect lines so guess I'll replacing and tucking that line with some hose and clamps

I came over from fwd platform that had a serious wheel hop issue so I know how much damage can be done if you don't keep the power planted to the ground so to help with that I am ordering "aFe Control PFADT Series Rear Tie Rods/Trailing Arms Package; Chevrolet Camaro 10-15" and soon after the solid rear subframe mounts so I won't need to worry when I get to a more serious power level
