In my opinion, it is. Folks want cheap horsepower, and it doesn't exist. If you want to pretend you wanna go fast, buy the cheap stuff. Bottom line as it's been from the beginning: you gotta pay if you wanna play. CAI brand is not cheap, but it gets some real dyno numbers.

Question for you Ted. I got my X3 tuner from the guy who bought my old car. I updated the firmware then I uploaded my ZL1's stock tune to the tuner so I can have it on my computer for safe keeping.

some people have told me my warranty is gone now that I hooked up the tuner to my new car. is this true even though I obviously haven't had you write me any tunes yet?

Sorry there is NO Custom Tuning Support for Superchips devices.

SCT Stands for Superchips Custom Tuning which as of 2003 is a Separate company as the custom tuning part of Superchips was sold off.

The software that comes on the disc are, Livelink, and SCT Device updater.

Both can be found at http://sctflash.com/tsupdates.php

Scroll through the tuners using the arrows until you locate the SCT-3400, or what every GM device your using, enter your serial number and it will bring you to the page with the Software downloads.

Ted.
