It also looks like it will be sporting a Camaro (red white & blue bars) on the grill rather than a bowtie. Look at the center of the grille, there seems to be a gap where a rectangular badge would fit it.

i know the headlights aren't going to be the production headlights... but after looking at them up close, they look like they're not just some run of the mill aftermarket headlights from autozone or ebay. they look particularly manufactured to fit into that area, along with fitting behind the grill.

nah....that rectangle would fit the top and bottom of the bowtie perfectly.

No missile launcher option? Darn. First let me say I am a believer in the lights not being the production ones. I have faith in the fbod father. Take a close look at the light housing. It would pretty darn easy to fabric a piece of plastic to hold lights to make these mules street legal. Shoot I've seen fabricating like this on Uniue Whips. She looks darn sexy in black doesnt she?
yes my precious you will be mine soon

If they put mustang missle launchers on it wouldn't they be on the rear of the camaro? they probably need to have some range too! considering thats where the ford will be.

In a manner of speaking, they are. It's a 'standard' headlight for GM's test cars. But the housing gets cut, and shaped to however they need it to be for different vehicles (see: Malibu test mule, and CTS test mule). I could be wrong as well, but I think the "Autozone", and "Hot-glued in" statements were little exagerations to drive the point home.

Hey! What's up with the tiny brakes behind those massive 20'' rims? What happened to the big slotted brakes we saw when this car was winter testing? Anyone know?

Howdy guys,

My first post here. Been lurking for a while. Planing to pick up a high end Camaro when it arrives. Either going to fall in love with the new car or jump to a Corvette. I have a great car in my Formula (currently in the process of rebuilding the LT1). My '70 SS is ready to roll as soon as I replace a leaking brake line. 496 cubes of mean metal. Butttt, I like the new body style.

The spy pics are excellent. The profile of the car leaves me a little wanting. Something about it doesn't seem right. Can't put my finger on it...

I like the headlights, grill is cool, but you can see the aluminum condensor, wheels rock, brakes are big, shape is sweet. It's gotta have a wicked bad motor though. 400 hp ain't gonna be enough for me. It's gonna need a stop by the speed shop after I buy it. I'm more of a 600 hp man...

My $.02
E.

Well my friends uncle who works for gm said Horspower will be similar to the caddillacs cts-v so you are looking at approx 550hp for the high end model this will probably be around the gt500 price roghly45-50k, but if your looking for 600 and have the bank account for it i reccomend the corvette zr1!
