North Texas meet in April!

Alright Guys and Girls....I know alot of us can't drive long distances to some of these Cam gatherings but I was wanting to know a show of "Pistons" who would like to meet in April at a undisclosed location and date to follow. Basically everyone who would like to come what I need from you is a date and exactly where you will be coming from...for example I live in Justin Texas or if you will North Ft.Worth....the dates I have open on my calendar for that month are 4/11/09 and 4/18/09 which both or Saturdays.....the time can be discussed later. Just wanting to see who is really interested and if enough people are we can decide on it then....this is just a good way of getting to know one another as well and share stories and what not....now let the debate begin.....

I am up for it. I'm in McKinney. My dates should be open except for the 19th (Sunday).

We live in Dallas near Love Field. My mom and sister are the Camaro drivers, but all three of us are enthusiasts; strangely enough, I'm the biggest enthusiast.

We might be interested, but we keep the miles off them as best as we can, so we don't go to meets in Ft. Worth, Lewisville, Garland, etc. We pretty much stay in Dallas or Addison.

How about meeting at Lake Grapevine? There is a huge parking lot with large pavillons, good scenery, and a couple of grills for BBQ. Maybe the 11th or 18th, depending on weather? If not, I'd definitely be up for a meet somewhere in North Dallas or Addison. FYI - Work in Addison and live in Frisco.

The challenege is finding a big enough parking lot where people don't care if we loiter. My other car club goes to Bone Daddy's, but it is getting to be a pain in the ass due to lack of parking.

Anyway, let me know the details, and I'll make every attempt to be there.

Lake Grapevine is good, but I think it'd only be worthwhile if this was a HUGE event.

I go out there for Italian CarFest every year (they didn't have it last year, but will this year), and they always get about 100 Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Fiats. I'm not sure how they get the permit or whatever to assemble there though. They always park in the grass.

There is a spot on the south side that is good, and we don't need a permit. Just some friends chillin at the park with kick ass cars, and grillin up some brats and burgers. We've had a few G35Driver meets there for our local chapter. We've probably had 15 or so hanging out for the afternoon. Music, tossing the football, drinks, and BBQ. It's a pretty good spot.
