I bought a truck once that had a locking lug nut on one wheel and no matching key. I took it down to my brother-in-law at the local Les Schwab tire shop to see if they could get it off. He said no problem and started digging through a socket set. Confused, I asked him what he was doing. He said to just watch and grabbed a big f'n hammer and headed over to my truck. Then he just pounded the socket onto the locking lug nut until it was stuck. Next he grabbed a socket wrench and cranked on the lug nut until it came loose. Problem solved.

Just remember that you may have locking lug nuts but any determined thief can get it off with a little effort.
Yes, however all that takes extra time.. most thief's won't risk it.. Same with having "The Club" on the steering wheel. Yes it can be cut out many different ways, however why bother when another vehicle doesn't have one..etc..

Someone needs to invent a claw so when a thief tries to take the wheel off it like cuffs him to the wheel.

I would just like to see the look on the idiots face that tries to take the 11's off the back of my vette and has a red dot on his chest (from the silent 2 way paging alarm in my house). I do have GM locks on them though.

Difference is the club is useless. You don't even have to take the blame thing off to steal the car.

I remember that I had lost my key for my wheel lock - on my G35.. I was switching winter to summer.. boy that was a bitach to get off..

But to get it off.. this is what we did - for future reference if needed.. I took it to this chinny guy who had an air gun. He put a bigger head on the gun and hammered it into the wheel lock and then spun it out..

Just a little FYI if anyone ever lost there wheel lock
