I bought a mid-higher end amp + 10" subwoofer and I'm most interested in sound quality... Where's the best place to put it in the trunk? This will go in a custom built sealed enclosure btw...

Right behind the rear seats pointing back (or forward)?
In one of the rear corners pointing sideways?
Somewhere else...?

What do you guys think?

Trial and error. Chances are, your ears won't be able to tell where it's located in the trunk. However, if you are picky, try different placements until you find the one that's right for you.

We put our 2 12s in the center facing out so the wave would travel a little more and bounce back.

with the amp in the floor.
