Windshield Wiper Conversion?
I don't like the limited choices for wiper blades on th 93-96 Camaro. It is a specialty blade due to the upside-down-backwards hook on the wiper arm. We have to use use 24-in blades with an "R" designation,
My question is, has anyone tried to swap out the wiper arms from a 97 or newer 4th Gen? Also, I am considering cutting off the hook portion of the current wiper arm so that I could fit a different adapter to it. Comments or experiences?

I am not sure if the arms from a 98-02 would fit, should be cheap enough to pick up a set from a junkyard and see if it works.
As far as the blade itself, you can use any 24' wiper. Just pop the plastic peice out and put it in upside down and it should work. |
