Seems this is directed mostly towards me, and thats fine, no worries. I was just pointing out the fact that it is not his job to keep you in the know so cut him some slack if he is late getting you your information. I know we are all exicted about our cars. I hear the VIZ is actually having some computer issues, not sure what but another member (friend) told me that VIZ has been slow lately. And you wanted to know other avenues to check, we gave you those. Sorry if I appeared to be attacking you, that was not my intent. I doubt most of the people here will sell their cars in a year. I have an 89 IROC that we picked up brand new in June 1989... you were saying something about only buying the Camaro b/c it was "cool and new"? I have travelled hundreds of miles to various camaro shows and am currently signed up with my room booked to go to the Camaro mecca in Adel, GA in April. You were saying something about "not in it for the hobby"? Whos disrespecting who?

My post wasnt directed to only you...I just dont want others to get in this thread and start bashing the guy. Im thinking he didn't know Viz' status and I didnt want the OP to start calling anyone else a'holes etc.

Moral of the story if I would have left it alone, i would have found out from my dealer in a very timely manner but i was too excited to not bug VIZ but anyone using his services should realize he does this when he can... and we all appricate him, and all the others who help us through the wait.

Feel lucky your dealer did that. I ordered my car on 10-22-09 and it is at 3000 with a TPW of 11-23-09 and my dealer has not called me once. I even called and asked him when it was at 2000 to keep me informed with the progress of the order. Come to think of it I even had to call him to get the order number and he have me hassle about wanting it.

Camarotracking.com seems to allow you to enter just a pre-production order number now and it updates....once a vin is assigned it automatically continues tracking past 3800 how often i can not say.... i definately appreciate EVERYTHING VIZ does for us and this forum. He has his own customers calling him wanting their status let alone all of us.... give the guy a break.
