Does anyone know of a Locker or improved LSD for the Camaro rear?

There are a few of us with G8s that are setting up for a conversion to the Camaro pumpkin. Does anyone know of any improved internals for that rear?

You can't leave me with just that...

The reason we are looking to switch is that the Camaro rear uses a bigger gear set and appears to be stronger. Also, there will be a greater chance that things will be made for the Camaro, whereas the G8 is a dead platform.

My LSD is already a one wheeler and I popped an axle stub out and tore off the end from the retainer ring on out.

Is this car a daily driver? If so, that should be fun with a spool.

We'll also be making spools for the Camaro rear.

Spools work great in any rear. IRS or solid rear. I've got lots of happy customers using our spools.
Granted, it's not something I would recommend for a daily driven car (wouldn't hurt though) but you can't beat a spool for strenth or simplicity.
I'm sure Eaton will be releasing a posi soon and down the road I'm sure there will be many companies offering posi's and spools. I'm just glad to be one of the first to offer some great products for these great cars.

Thanks
Chris

George, I'll get that Harrop Truetrac shipped to you. Make sure you let us know how it works out.
I think the Truetrac will be better suited to your driving over the spool.

Thanks
Chris
