Are you taking the Detroit Bridge? If so, maybe we can meet up. I had planned on going thru Port Huron but would change route to have a riding partner! lol

You have to cruise in together. It's part of the experience! Besides, you'll need the practice so you'll be cruising pros when there are 36 of us cruising around together.

I'm planning on going I-75 / Ambassador Bridge (at Detroit) / 401. I'm flexible on the time Thursday as long as I get the hotel before it gets dark.

Get your rooms booked asap! We want to have this party lounge otherwise we'll be jamming 25 people into Hylton's hotel room to drink beer. That's not a pretty picture even if you've never met Hylton in person!

PS - We will have security for the Camaro5 parking lot at the hotel overnight for both Thursday and Friday nights.

We are "trying" to leave this area around 4 that would put us in Detroit around 7. I know it is starting to get dark earlier, so I doubt we would be there before dark. I know it's nearly 7 hrs from my house.

I can leave anytime Thursday, my rider is trying to get out of work at 3 and another driver is scheduled to leave about 6:30. Maybe we can convince them to get out earlier

The sooner we get there...the more

Ok...I'm 100% in! Had to get "work" approval before I could commit and got that this AM so I've got some catching up to do.

Will book the hotel tonight....I am leaving St. Louis on Wednesday. Google Maps has my route going:

St. Louis - Indianapolis - Ft Wayne - Lansing - Flint and crossing at Sarnia.....bypassing Detroit all together.

You may want to totally rethink that..From someone who uses both border crossings.

You are adding 90 minutes plus to your commute. Ft. Wayne to I-94 to Ambassador Bridge or I-69 to I-80 to I-75N to Ambassador Bridge.

Just saying... You will be in Detroit for maybe 5 minutes on I-75 and the new crossing is quite efficient.
