So...2SS + 1LE + Recaros + LS7 = ZL1 $hekel$, give or take (LSA "crate" = LS7 "crate")

And 1SS + 1LS Trim/Seats + 1LE + LS7 = Base Z/28 = $47,500...+ Recaros (only) = $51,500
Plus the ABW and change of pants you will need after your first drive.

Seems to me, with forward-facing Ram Air, the 2nd and 3rd characters of this grille emblem are INCORRECT...
...and those look like excellent potential Brake Duct inlets, below the Driving Lights...

"What would a report on this site be without a little peek into the future. When asked about the ZL1 versus Z28 issue, we asked if it was possible for a Z28 model to show up since it the Z28 badge and Camaro have been together since pretty much the beginning. That question was greeted with a big smile and a bit of a chuckle"

Not sure if a smile and a chuckle is a good thing or a bad thing???

Agreed. Wasn't the ZL1 originally supposed to be the Z28? I thought it was a late name change and that it was decided that the ZL1 name was more fitting for the top dog Camaro. If that's true then why would they add a ZL1 badge to a body design that was only an option early on? I think they're just showing us a possible Z28 to guage our reaction. Looks good to me.

We can only hope the 5Gen has a Z28. This Camaro's design deserves a Z28. I must add the ZL1 is awesome. And I must say it again a 427 Z28 would be magical!

See how similar (and "different") this concept (from SEMA '08) is to the 1LE concept from SEMA '11...

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9274

"Tasty" indeed, Mac! The COPO LS7 was the "seed" for a proposed aftermarket version that didn't quite "germinate"...perhaps there's a "phoenix" out there...somewhere...
