I can cut all types of metals on my machine. I stay away from brass as all it takes is one flash and I'm replacing a $30,000.00 dollar mirror. I can cut wood and plastic too but I usually don't because the vent system has to be disconnected. It makes a mess.

I have a 6 killowatt Trumpf 5040 with liftmaster and Rotolas.
We don't do the white very often, but we do gold all of the time on our dash plaques.
We can do black, gold, white, and mill finish.

Check out the gold and black together.

Plastic is messy, and it can smell pretty bad. I was an engineer in a laser facility that's how we got started.

On layered plastic yes..... not on stainless. That was what I meant.

What wattage laser do yall have. Generally signage lasers are around 60 watts.

We cut up to 1 1/2 inch carbon steel and 1 inch stainless and aluminum on ours.

I programmed this last week but have not run any yet. This is our clubs logo. It is a software test run looking for any collissions and such.
I recorded it on my phone. The white lines are positioning moves, magenta is etching, and green is cutting.

That was a stainless dash plaque I showed you. Please look again. We can etch these colors on stainless. Read the part description in the sale page, it's stainless just like I said. I am not sure why you do not believe me, we sell them in STAINLESS all the time. Here is the link for you to read again.
We are also getting off topic.
http://www.emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/5021 Stainless with gold, and black etching!
One thing we will not do is disclose our equipment, i hope you understand.
I am very familiar with your type of machine. I have worked with many. Yours, Bystronics. Kern, Universal, etc....C02, Yag, nitrogen oxygen, etc... I used to program the head of a 5 axis laser for fixtures, and 3 dimensional tooling paths for automotive parts.
But this thread is for the hood bowties.

Thanks, Roger

I've been using lasers for some time now and have never seen one do color. Yall must be using a yag laser. Whole different wave length than the ones I use. Interesting indeed.
I see your just trying to sell. So I'll not ask anymore questions.

BTW the tag in the link you posted looks nice.

When these get going I would be interested in one with LT1 on it.. It is VERY hard to find nice LT1 badges.. All I ever see are SS badges. LT's like to look hot too!

I will call this upcoming week to see if they will allow us to make these.
I fully expect that they will.
After that we need to send in parts for approval. Not sure of a timeline yet.
I will keep you posted as I find out information. It took about 4 months for the dash plaques.

Thanks, Roger
