For that matter, I'm not even sure anyone would be able to tell it's an aftermarket mod. It's made from a regular GM part; only the inside throat is altered. One would have to look closely to tell if it's any different.

I find it hard to believe that a few mm of space will punch more air an cause a noticable jump in acceleration. Maybe i need to just find out myself. Is there anybody who shows improved 1/4mi times? Or 0-60 times?? Hp numbers say alot but not enough. . At least for me

Anyone stating they don't see how a few mm of space...clearly hasn't read anything about the TB design. It's not the extra space that makes the greatest difference.

It's $150. Are you looking for a .5 sec reduction in the 1/4 mile...you should look elsewhere.

The throttle body was not designed to increase horsepower or torque. It was designed to provide consistent power delivery i.e. get rid of the "dead spot" I'm the lower RPM range.

It just so happens that the TB also added a few extra horses and torque, which is just an added bonus.

The vast majority of owners would say the $150 was well spent.

I have read abit about this but porting out throttle bodies is nothing new the performance mods. Its been done long ago and the same concept is applied. That concept used in dozens of other cars ive only been told that it wasnt a noticable change. 150 is indeed little money for a mod. But its close to half for a tune.or could be put in a different mod. Ether way i have only heard good things of this tb. Just thought somes done a simple test of running a stock car vs the tb car and see a win

Different TB

Just received my ported throttle body and was eager to install it but they are different. Now what?
I know return it and get the right one.

Tests show a 2 to 3 rwhp gain from it.
