Okay, I dropped off some Brembo's to All-Star to have them torn down and prepped for powder coating. We'll see how it goes. Here's some before pics. I'll have after's posted after the powder coating. Hope all goes well. BTW the price at Young Gun went up from 140 to 180. Still pretty reasonable in my book.

This is what had me racking my brain. My car is a 2014 1LT in bright yellow with a black racing stripe, black and red fender stripes and black and red quarter panel stripes. I debated with doing it either red or yellow and kept agonizing over the two. I looked at pictures online of yellow Camaro's with yellow brake calipers and then with red brake calipers. In the end, because red on my car is not a primary color and more of an accent color, I chose to go with it. So red calipers was my decision but for the decals, I'm going to go with "Chevrolet" in yellow and "Brembo" in black to continue with the color scheme I currently have on the car. Sorry for the long dissertation but now you can kind of see how my brain was working. I wanted to do this right so I also purchased some stainless steel braided brake lines from JDP and some Motul 600 brake fluid. I know its probably overkill but my ride is what I call a canyon carver. I love going on cruises with lots of mountainous twisties! I attached some pictures of my current color scheme along with an engine cover that I will install on friday.

That looks like the same red I chose from the color palette that I was shown. If it looks even half as good as yours does I'll be extremely happy.

Thanks. Mine looks anodized. The color was Jolly Rancher red over chrome powder.

The powder coater himself doesn't rebuild them, or take them apart, a shop nearby does. If you want to go with them, you don't have to.

Yes, Armen at All Star Auto actually buys a rebuild kit for the Brembo's when he puts them back together. It's included in the price of the install. When I went there he broke it all down for me as far as what I would be charged and what was included.

Update. Okay, so I got the calipers back from Young Gun today and they look fantastic. Now to give them back to All Star and have them rebuild it, install it and then I'll take the final pics when they're actually on my vehicle.

What does All Star charge for the tear down and rebuild? And approximately how long does the entire process take? Trying to figure out how long my car will be down for? Thanks
