BBK 95mm & 102mm Throttle Bodies

I know there are a lot of you that have been waiting for the new throttle bodies to be released and I just wanted to let you know the wait is over.

The 95mm throttle bodies start shipping to the distributors next week. If you have one Pre ordered, it won't be too much longer.

I'll be finishing up the testing phase on the 102mm on a Maggie car in the next couple of weeks then shipping on those will follow as quickly as possible.

So far there haven't been any issues with it closing or staying partially open like others have had so keep your fingers crossed. I'm running just under 12 pounds of boost at WOT so if things work well on mine, hopefully those of you with monster builds won't have any issues either!

I'd like to know how the 95mm TB is going to work well on a LS3 intake that has a 93mm opening? The 102mm seems like a good idea for a FAST intake and PD superchargers but IDK about the 95MM

I'm really close to the owners and the production manager. If Shane says they're shipping, I would bet they are shipping. He is usually very conservative when it comes to product releases.

How many are willing to do that? And will anyone benefit from a few mm? I don't think so, but we'll see. It might be the next wedge lol

Wouldnt that require removal of the intake manifold?

You know people do a helluva lot more for a lot less potential gains. I hear it improves throttle response and gives her that deep throaty sound.

Not at all. Just stuff some rags in the intake to keep the pieces from going to the back of the intake, then vacuum out the area when you're done. Obviously taking it off would be ideal but people have been doing mods like this on cars for years without issues.

That's been my take all along. Not saying anyone is going to gain a ton by putting this on but it's got to be at least as good as the current ported TB's. Time will tell when these FINALLY hit the market and tests can be run.

Normally when the wait is over there's no more waiting involved.
