One of the reasons, a big reason, I went to Corey's shop is the attention to detail, and the honest approach to this kind of stuff... He brought me out of the clouds, yet is still managing this amazing build for me...

Corey will have it all straightened out for me by the time I get home... I really wish I could have been around for more of it, but I got to pay for it as well.. That having been said, the only tuning left to be done will be on the loose nut between the steering wheel and the drivers seat... Joe is an amazing friend... We pretty much decided we are going to ship those wheels and tires to Chandler, and put them on the car when we get there... There may be three of us using them at one time or the other... they're only tires right... whats a couple of tires among friends, friends that will drive 60 or 70 miles one way to pick up the tires, wait for the wheels to be delivered and then go have them mounted and balanced...

C5 is an amazing family of Good People, amazing cars, and friends....

Corey will also make a couple of passes in my car at the track to determine the stability and handling at the launch, and at the top... He's more qualified than I am to do so... makes me feel better... Full service Shop... that cares...

Bro, don't take me at my word, ask Da Hose,

He saw and heard my car chirp 2nd, 3rd and 4th when I was racing his wife in Houston, and other than the Roto-Fab, it was bone stock... 4th was at the finish line at 113 mph...and I lost the race... to an L-99... .. it wasn't the first one I lost, and it wont be the last, but there wont be too many of them....

Very nice. I haven't had a chance to slam 4th. My chirp was while short shifting. I might work on running in a standing mile for full acceleration through the top of third and partway through fourth.

In the almost famous words of Doug, after driving Kyles car in San Antonio, a drive in which he got pulled over, first gear is like whaaaaaa, gone... taking about as long as it takes to read whaaaa. and then second was no better... If yours or mine pulls third gear like the stock LS-3, relatively speaking, then both our cars are going to go from 70 to 110 in the blink of an eye...

Now that you (and others here) are pushing up the numbers you will find the stuff Tom at NRE said - It's not the 0..60, it's the 60-160. 0-60 on anything other than a fully prepped track is a pure traction battle... But be careful on the roads - there is nothing hairier than breaking tires loose at highway speeds. You are then a drifter - like it or not.
