Awesome! I put an addition on my house a few years ago, new master bedroom, 2 new bathrooms, moved a bunch of walls, new staircase, and an over sized 2 car garage with a work area. The house is much nicer now, much more livable, but the garage is still my favorite part!

i also have an 8 camera setup with a 1 T hard drive. If you can get away with just using 4 cameras, you would benifit by using half as much hard drive, and if a camera ever needed to be replaced, you would have 4 spares. I also set mine to only record when motion is detected, that also saves hard drive space. the remote viewing thing is pretty cool too.

At this point, we probably won't use all 8 cameras because 2 of them were actually designed to be used for my girlfriends great uncle who was living with us. We were set to have one set up in the dining room mainly where he stayed and the kitchen, where he liked to wander. But he passed away in January, so the need for those 2 cameras won't be there. At this point, 4 is probably all we'll need anyway, especially with the layout of the yard.

definately not. it has bolts on the top course to tie in the wood framing going above that. id imagine atleast siding on the outside because of the joints not being cleaned up fterwards.

Ok. The current runs look a little high for ones that aren't going at least 3/4 of the way up. My buddies shop (just a big ass garage but high) is at least 12ft of cinder block before it switched to wood.
