Blue 4th Gen
I saw a blue 4th gen Z28 in San Marcos Friday. It had ZR1 wheels, old chrome Z28 badges on the side where the usual ones would be, cut off exhaust, maybe downturn. It looked really good and sounded even better. I'm not usually big on stickers but it had a small chrome hotwheels sticker on the back glass that looked really cool.( my kids especially thought so). If it is someone on this board, I just wanted to compliment the ride. Very unique.

come one, come all, to the Devil's Backbone Cruise 2008... this year we'll be doing a full cruise down the Devil's Backbone out to Blanco, where we will stop and get some gas and snacks, then head down 281 to San Antonio where we'll stop at the Alamo Cafe and do some grubbing on some of San Antonio's best Tex-Mex cooking... this isn't a long cruise, but it is a fun one... there will be some "spirited" driving along the way, but I want to emphasize that this event is NOT a rally and there are no prizes for getting the first or fastest.
the tenative plan is to meet in San Marcos on Sunday, May 4, in the parking lot of Furr's at 10:00am... we'll have some time to do some showing and shining in the parking lot, then leave between 10:45am and 11:00am and head west through San Marcos out to Ranch Road 12, on to 32 at "the Junction", heading west to Blanco, then heading south on 281 from Blanco all the way to the Alamo Cafe. this cruise is open to all types of cars and trucks, but this is an f-body event, so the f-bodies will be the stars of the show... the f-bodies will be at the head of the pack and everyone else can make the decision as to what order the rest of the cars are in from there. I will post maps, directions and where the rest stops will be sometime soon... if anyone has any suggestions on other stops that we might want to make along the way, please feel free to chime in and it will be tossed out to the crowd for approval

Sunday, May 4... we'll probably be doing something with the out of towners that come in a day early on May 3... so I'll get back with more information about that, too
