Just yesterday found out mine is loose. Was washing it and it wiggled. Gotta tighten them. Haven't yet.

Oh, $hit. I was just gonna tighten it whenever I got around to it. Guess I better get on it.

Solution for those who are missing a nut:

1. Remove the two lower plastic clips holding the trunk liner on.
2. Lift the corner of the liner
3. Slide a magnetic retriever tool in towards the corner of the trunk lid.
4. You should be able to pull the nut out.

Napa sells a nice flexible magnetic retrieval tool that works great for under $6.00.

I feel much better now that I know where my missing nut is.

OK, obviously the nut size is 10 mm, so I am going to buy some nylon locknuts, what is the size of the studs? they are certainly metric. DUH

I think the 4 guys running the machine that tightens those bolts should be investigated!

Just went and checked mine, loose as a goose (however that is)

For you people that want to use nylocks, they are M6 x 1.0

Blue locktite would give you peace of mind though.

I guess I could pop off the underside of the trunk cover and look. Any ideas where the extra nut would have come from???

Pulled my spoiler off today for paint. There are 6 nuts. Repeat there are 6 nuts not 4. To access two of them you need to remove the liner. Mine were all finger loose too.
