Just some updates:

I moved from San Diego, CA to Tega Cay SC last month. Or more accurately, my GF, my dad, and my uncle moved us from San Diego to Tega Cay! I've been in Afghanistan since April, but am coming home soon.

My car was towed on flatbed by my dad and uncle behind a Uhaul. During the move, the front end of the car sustained some damage.

Thinking about using this opportunity to redo the front end. Thinking "maybe" ZL1 front end conversion?

I've also made the decision to ditch my silver stripes. I'm going to instead go with red hash marks on the fenders and that's it for now.

I also am purchasing a set of lightly used 1000 hp DSS axles. The plan eventually is to purchase a DSS 3.5" aluminum drive shaft, and probably jannety's posi mod. Looking at strengthening up my rear end so I don't have to worry about possible driveline failure due to the added torque from my supercharger.

Still have not touched the tuning at all, but as soon as I get home am planning on getting it properly tuned. Have to get it retuned to 93 octane anyway. Let's see if we can get her up to 550 rwhp. And on that note, I have a ZL1 fuel pump sitting at home waiting to install.

Sorry for the bumper man , the ZL1 bumper would look way better IMO , Great to have you back on the build.

But yeah, life has kept me busy for the last 10 month or so, so haven't been able to do much to the car.

Just had an MPD1 rear valence installed. I think it really completes the rear end of the car. This is how it should have come from the factory.

Although......I'm a little worried about how it might look with the ZL1 sideskirts and a front splitter.......which is another mod that I want to do.

Today I decided to remove my sparks restoration SS emblem off of my heritage grill. I decided the stealthy no emblem look was in order. I'm still keeping the rear SS emblem though.

Also the car will be going in the shop soon for some injectors, a boost a pump, and some Megan racing coil overs. REALLY looking forward to getting those coil overs installed as I have about had it with the ride quality of my lowering springs. I have a set of front Pfadt and rear pedders springs that will be going up for sale once I get my coil overs installed. Stay tuned!

Could you post your impressions on the Megan coilovers when you get them? I'm looking into them myself.

Will do. Hopefully my expectations aren't too high. I'd like to think that the ride quality is going to be significantly better than my lowering springs.

Car is going to PCM of North Carolina in Mooresville on the 25th of November. Going to start on my first round of winter upgrades.

1. New injectors. This will be in preparation for headers/cam install down the road.

2. MSD boost a pump. Again in preparation of the headers/cam install down the road.

3. 160 degree t-stat. Kelly of PCM recommended this as a cheap way to keep the temps down, and I agree.

4. Install my Megan racing coil overs. Had these sitting in the garage for quite a while now. They were purchased used from a member here on C5 and only have about 2000 miles on them. I really hope this is an improvement of the ride quality over the pfadt/pedders lowering spring combo that I'm currently running. Can anyone comment on going from lowering springs to coil overs on any improvement in ride quality?

5. Dyno tune. The injectors will require a tune. So maybe with the improved fuel flow, and tuning for 93 octane, we will be able to squeeze out a few more HP before the headers and cam install.
