Looking at the 18" TSW Mugello

I'm looking into getting some 18" rims and I'm liking the Mugellos. A couple questions for those more experienced with wheels.

Would I be able to fit the 18x9.5 Mugellos on all 4 for a square setup?
The offsets shown on the TSW site are 20 and 35.
I looked at the "Free Offsets" thread and if I'm understanding it right, I should be able to fit the 18x9.5 with 30 offset on all 4 and just grind down the front spindles.

If anyone has pictures of these rims installed on their car post some pictures up, thanks guys.

I'm also thinking about getting some 18" wheels. I also want the same front and back for tire rotations. Bit confused, why would the spindles need grinding? Is it because of back space clearance?

From what I read here,http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=201546, my understanding is that with the 35mm offset, the front spindle will be hitting the rim.

Quote:
So here are SUX2BU's recommended offsets
Front (these are all with stock shocks)
18x8.5 23mm (up to 35mm is ok also, just a little more tucked)
18x9 29mm (no more than 37mm if you don't want to grind spindle, up to 41 if you do)
18x9.5 36mm if you want to grind (30mm if you don't want to grind)
18x10 38mm with a narrow tire if you want to grind (24mm if you don't want to grind)

Rear
18x11 48mm (you have to clearance the LCA on lowered cars)
18x10.5 42mm (up to 53mm and you might have to clearance LCA on lowered cars)
18x10 35mm (up to 50mm)
18x9.5 29mm (up to 44mm)
18x9 23mm (up to 38mm)
Anyone with experience feel free to confirm this or to clear it up for me.

Ah sweet, I was thinking of running 18x8.5s, but the style I like only has them in +35 so according the to chart I can run them.

I tried searching, but I couldn't find the stock offset for the 18x7.5 steel wheels.

Yeah that should work, I'm just hoping to get more insight on how the 18x9.5s fit because I would like to get more rubber on the ground.

Yeah, if the 9.5s will fit, I want to wrap them in 265s, probably the Hankook Ventus.

If we knew the stock offset we could measure out how far from the fender we can go.

20" RS/SS Rims
+35mm Front
+40mm Rear

18" Steelies
+38mm

I'm pretty sure the setup I want will work, I'm just wanting someone with more experience to confirm or deny it. It would also be nice to see some similar setups with their offsets to see what it will look like.

Oh sweet! Thanks, that helps a lot for me. Since if I do the math correctly if I swap from stock to 18x8.5+35 then that would mean it would only stick out 16mm more.

Yea on another forum I frequent we have a "what works, what rubs, what doesn't work" thread where we post a pic of our wheels installed + specs.
