Man it would be great if it really is just a computer thing and there was nothing wrong with the tranny or anything major like that with the L99's.
Maybe all of your testing has finally convinced you're not a grandma and it'll do sub 5.0's now.

Those guys in that vid sure make it sound accurate but I wonder how honest their being. Usually 'real' people don't throw the other comparable product on the ground. Billy Mays would have never done that.

I was wondering the same thing. However, my last daily driver, a 2006 VW diesel; I tested and was within .10 of a sec with the mags in the 1/4. Since it was so close, I said it must work.

It isn't just this car where the computer learns about the way you drive. Most all newer cars do this and when I rebuilt my 97 Trans Am motor and transmission, I had to wait for that car to do it also. I put about 2k miles or so on it and drove the you know what out of it and it is fine just like my L99 2SS. The computer has to go through the engine and learn everything from shifting points to oil pressure and all that stuff. Once it gets it all and your car is broken in, it is all good then. Once my 05 GTO hit 5k miles it was a beast so I'm sure this will be no different.

If it is then I just ran a 4.63 or so 60.

idk if I would trust it to within a tenth but it seems like it could get within half a second, which would still give you a pretty good time

Just curious as to how they are all performing. A number of us have had slow times and trying to figure it out.

Post a vid of your run if you can. Or just give a reweiw of your thoughts.
Thanx in advance.

Doing a DYNO run on mine at the end of next week. The guy said I can video it, and he will chart it to get a base line for me. I will post once I get it.

I just realized tonight to hold the T/C button down for 7 seconds to turn all controls off. It sounds like I will be making a stop on a empty street some time this weekend.

Yup. A full half second would still put me at 5.03
