I would say you would be fine for a few weeks but there is no real science to my guess. Depending on traffic and your driving habits results may vary.

488-6521 Shouldn't be over $100 for quality filter and 8 quarts of full synthetic oil. |

Don't think he stocks mobil1. Can call to see if you can bring in oil. Costco usually has mobil1 on sale 2-3 times a year.
As newb stated, 10% is calculated oil life. Can wait for dealership. If your car is still under warranty, keep all receipts. Dealership/GM could deny warranty claim if you fail to prove proper maintenance. |

No warranty is long over. I've had my camaro almost 4 years now and 49K miles now. I've seen on here that Pennzoil has a synthetic just as good as Mobile 1. I haven't checked other stealerships (lol).

I saw a show on Speed where they talked to the oil guy at Richard Childress racing and he said the biggest thing to oil is to stick with whatever works for you. He basically said for a street car there isn't much difference between all of the top synthetics.

Has anyone had any problems with their key fobs? On both of mine the buttons have fallen off. I do have all of the pieces still. Just wondering if it has happened and if so how did you remedy this.
Before all the questions no my car isn't under warranty anymore, no I didn't spill anything on them to cause this. One went bad and tgen within 1-2 weeks the other one's buttons fell off. Also neither of tgem were exposed to anything out of yhe normal. Craig |

Looking to get new brakes soon. Does anyone know of a local shop where I can get Hawk Performance brake pads? If so would they be under $290-$300?

Assuming you drive mostly H3, you probably only need to do fronts. You can check with Island brake and Alignment, between cutter Ford and best buy. |

Thanks for shops to do the job. I was going to go through Apex motors (vendor on this site) and quoted around $290 for all 4 pads shipping included. I was just checking if anywhere on island had them cheaper.

Amazon didn't carry it when I did my brakes. I doubt you'll find any local shop competitive with internet pricing. Free shipping disclaimer for Hawaii doesn't even get you partial shipping credit from most vendors. Too bad many don't use USPS flat rate. |

been lurking these forums for awhile, recently ive bought alot of new parts for my baby pretty much a full makeover including ZL1 front conversion, SEIBON hood, trunk, diffuser, TSW Nurburgring 20s", lights and go fast parts.
Was trying to find a good reputable shop to paint match the new ZL1 front and put another layer of Clearcoat on the SEIBON parts and to install new exhaust and maybe other things. The internet here in afghanistan limits my search results BTW for all the military anyone stationed at the JIOC |
