OK, I did not realize there are different fuel tables. I incorrectly assumed there was only 1 table.

So after Fuse Pull 24hrs ago on my 2014 SS, filled it up with 93Oct, had a quarter tank of 91Oct left in it. I can agree to what the most say, much better in first gear, better idle, and much more smooth during acceleration. I think it sounded a little more dirty before but still get my plops and rattles The Engine is not so shaky anymore, I still think you can feel when its running in the wrong fuel map, now its like it should be with an new car not so rough.

Gears going better in too, don't know why that is but it should has a reason.

Works the Same like on 2013 or lower years.

Next will be the Fuse Pull for the Exhaust just to try

Just do it and drive it, like the most say, feels like a newer car.

Didn't you just do the fuse pull?

I did this yesterday because I suspected the dealer put 87 octane in the tank before I took delivery.

I pulled fuses 5 & 20, cooked and ate dinner, then reinstalled the fuses. I let it idle for 5 - 10 minutes before driving the car.

I was surprised by the marked improvement in usable power, which was especially noticeable during low RPM acceleration.

Kelly at PCMofNC recommended I do this before bringing the car in for a tune, as a precaution. Her exact words were "87 octane really neuters the car".

Based on my experience, I agree with her completely.

I've heard a lot about the fuse pull, is it still worth while if you've had a trifecta tune done? I bought my car used and don't trust that it was always fed the proper fuel.

I'd say it works I was running 12.90s all night, waiting in staging line for my last run and pulled the fuses, ended up running a 12.70 I'd say it defenently works

Doesn't really make much sense that it would do anything after a tune, but hellv I'll give it a shot lol

I've had my 2013 2SS in storage all winter with the battery disconnected, can I assume that I would not have do the fuse pull?

Too much assumption as well.

Is this the same for the 2014's? I have a 2014 ZL1 and am getting ready to install a roto fab and vmax throttle body. I'm assuming the fuses are the same?
