Most Aggressive/Loud Exhaust

Hello I got a 2010 Camaro I would like the car to be a lot louder. Has anybody cut the mufflers off and ran straight pipes. Any video or sound clips on kooks header exhaust without mufflers.

Thanks

I had straight pipes with kooks headers and the stock cam. It was ridiculously loud. I mean ridiculous. I don't have video clips of that setup, sorry.

I did however just make a clip of my current setup, kooks w/ solo mach-X catback. Still very loud and aggressive at WOT but much more refined and throaty. (note: the good stuff happens at the 30 second mark.)

I ran mine for about a week without the rear mufflers..... sounded VERY agressive, but I ended up using SLP x-pipe and muffler delete pipes.... Love it .. not too loud and not too quiet

Corsa exhaust

Have Hennessey 650 with Mag supercharger, long tube headers with Corsa pipes. Also had the Corsas on my 07' Z06. They sound great a idle, surprisingly quite at cruise, and freakin' screaming loud when you hit it. Love 'em......period.

2010 SS RS (Larry) was probably the first person to post "how to" remove the mufflers and put on straight pipes. There are a bunch of videos of his car. I'll see if I can find one of the links for ya.

I have heard this setup and he right it is truly incredible the difference. At idle it sounds good, you can talk and listen to the radio at 70mph and when you smash the vertical pedal on the right it sounds like a race car.

I removed the mufflers after 4 weeks of taking delivery. I love it. It sounds agreesive whn you want it to and you can drive with low rpm's to be quiet. It sounds like a muscle car should.

I guess if you want loud, what's the point of half-measures?

Those that have just taken the mufflers off:
Doesn't the car run better with them on since factory calibration is set for some back pressure? I know it sounds better off, but performance wise, does it make any difference?
Does that eliminate the car from passing smog emissions in places where it is required?
