50th Anniversary Possibility?

I would bet good money there will be a 50th... it has not always been on the "5's" ... my first Camaro was a 30th anniv. addition in 97.

You cannot move the wedding date up 7 years. It would be the 50th anniversary of the wedding date. Whether you took a hiatus or not it doesn't change the date of the event. That's the what the 45th anniversary edition celebrates the 45th year since the first production year. You are beyond laughable.

AS I STATED, The act does not have to be repeated. its is the annual recurrence of the DATE the camaro came out (notable event).

I've learned that people will take definitions (and statistics for that matter) and twist them to suit their needs. It's part of life.

The rest of us here understand that the notable event is the first year GM introduced the world to the Camaro, but this fella is stuck on the fact that they didn't produce them for awhile.

I get where him and a few others are coming from that it feels a bit funny, but still, the notable date (in this case generalized to a year) is the first year a Camaro was produced. That won't ever change, no matter how many people illogically try to interpret a defintion of a word.

Anniversary is the celebration of a notable event, not the notable event happening every year.

50th Anniversary of D-Day does not mean D-Day had to happen every year.
50th Anniversary of my wedding does not mean I get married every year.
50th Anniversary of the Camaro celebrates the first production of the Camaro, not the fact it was made every year.

edit: Sorry OP. I'm with the other, the 50th should be something special without being too flashy like the 45th. I would say use a few of the colors from the first production.

Flashy or subtle like the 45th?

I like the idea of a candy apple red. Maybe black stripes with a white outline? Factory black wheels instead of chrome or silver.
