Goal of 12.0 on a 14' 1LE

Good evening, I'm looking for help to accomplish a goal of a 12 second 1/4 mile on my 14 2SS/RS 1LE. I know the car is not made for drag, and I don't want a drag kinda set up. I just know if the car is capable of doing a 12. It's fast enough for me. Yes the car is fast, but it really don't put me back in my seat so to speak. And I really want more confidence in my baby when one of these new mustangs pulls next to me. Do I need a cam and a supercharger to accomplish this? do I supercharge first and then a cam? Will just a supercharger do? I read that the car does 13.1 now stock, is this correct? I really do appreciate the help. Thanks much. Keith.

FBO with the right wheel and tire can get you there with a driver mod.
Or just go cam only with a tire and you can get there.
Don't need a SC.

CAI intake, headers, tune, vitesse throttle controller and a ported throttle body from either Bo white or Vmaxx. That will definitely have you in the 12.

Uh, you should already have more confidence when a 15 mustang pull up to you because they are slower than the previous and some SS's already beat them at a drag strip.

Mine went 12.99 stock. Others have gone 12.7's, but it takes a lot of practice to get the launch right. I'd figure you'd need an honest 125-150hp boost to shave a solid second off. A supercharger, tune, and a few bolt-ons would get you well into the 11's.

I went 12.92@116 with just CAI on stock tires and not good launch. I expect a better et next time. Getting out the hole can be tricky.

this does nothing in the 1/4 mile or launching the car. Other items will help.

12 something is very different from 12.0. If you can get to 12.0 with just boltons you will be #1.

The 1LE is not as drag strip friendly as the SS. But that makes it all the more fun to make it go fast.

You would go with a supercharger instead of a cam? If I added a supercharger, I would be in the 11's? headers and a tune, have a CAI. Then I should just save the 3k on the cam and throw it into a supercharger?

I'm guessing you are talking about beating the 13-14 5.0 mustangs.

12.13@119mph with a cam and a horrible 60 ft on 285 Michelin PSS.

That should be doable with Headers/PTB/Intake/Tune/DR's/LCA's and Cradle Bushings on 18's if you get a clean launch.

That is the shortest route to a fast 1LE. There was this white 2014 1LE that ran at Atco running mid 11s with only the bottle. He said he ran faster but I did not see it. I have not seen him yet this year. I wonder if the LS3 went boom. I know his plan was to spray big.
