big block in a fourth gen?

any body put a big block in a fourth generation camaro without makeing a tube chasis. Seen Jamie Stanton's one in the latest edition of super chevy. The engine area appeared to be mostly stock. Wondering how to do it, if any one has any information.

There's a guy around here that put a 454 in a 96 Z28. It can be done.

Dont know why youd want to. The LSX can be built up pretty well in cubes or forced induction.

X2. The few rat powered 4th gens i have seen run were no better than what a decent ls motor does.

There's a guy in PC who has a 496 in a '93... We had to illustrate that fact to him a couple weeks ago.
