Besides, on the spy pics, we can clearly see 8 extracting vents as the rendering only shows 4
Well, we should know by the end of April what the final design will look like. Your opinions certainly have merit, but I still think this rendering will be close to production.

RSRSRS, thanks for the Cyber Gray paint job photoshop. If they do not produce the Z28 in a Marina Blue or Jet Stream Blue, I am not sure what color I will pick. The CGM looks good though.

Besides the wheels and extra-large brake ducts (just their existance, not shape)...I'm not so sure.

I love it. much better than the last jon sebal rendering (yes I know we really dont know what it will look like). Anyway, if GM would stick a for sale sign on a z28 that looks like this, Im in. Lets get it done, general-

In my opinion I don't really believe that the hood in the rendering will he the final production design. I still believe that they're going to use the hood design from Jay Leno concept/TF3. Not that it really matters to me cause I love my SS and will probably wait till a 50th anniversary Camaro is release til contemplating on buying another car... that or a V8 manual Chevy SSR, now thats a headturner!
I'm not a fan of the hood in the rendering, I would much rather see the TF3 hood as the Z hood.

Not so much by creating down force like a spoiler, but a relief of under hood pressures and some "up-force" by letting the air that get shoved through the radiator escape out the top of the engine bay, rather than being forced down below the vehicle.

You'll see many LeMans cars (Like the C6.R Corvettes, for example) have a HUGE heat extractor vent in their hoods that deflect almost all of the air from the radiator out over the top of the car. This is the same idea to a much milder extent for the Z28s purpose as a badass street car.

Newtons third law:
Every action is accompanied by a reaction of equal magnitude but opposite direction --> "up^-force" of air equals "down-force" on the vehicle... excuse my nediness

I don't think I understand?

Not the law...just how you're applying it?

Any rendering without the mail-slot is a winner in my book.

Ok I see what you're getting at. Though the reverse hood scoop of a C6.R vette looks much more aerodynamically designed to let air escape over it than this rendering, and even the spy photos, no? The vette's is a clean, unobstructed exit path, whereas the camaro is impeded by a grill/louver design.

Not saying you're wrong, because of course I do not know that.

Personally, I'd rather have a single big working scoop like the GT500, I wont be driving this thing fast enough to see the effects of a heat-extractor up-force thingy
