If the 2014 SS front bumper fits ill put that on mine (without the chrome) with a front lip and ill be just fine with my 2011.
imo i just dont like the rear end lights but the stock duel exhaust looks doable. like others say i really have to see it in person to come to my final conclusion. im sure once the aftermarket scene takes hold of 2014's they will look "better", only time will tell.

front pictures of 2014 SS that is NOT an RS
Forgive me if I missed it, but are there any pictures of the front of a 2014 SS that is NOT an RS. Many have given there opinion but I'd like to see some pictures. Between the SS/RS, Z28 and V6 non RS there are three different front grills. Which does SS non RS get?

The license plate canyon is a mess, but, if/when I order, I'll back into the garage.

Now that I look closer at the Crystal Red V6 non RS in this thread I think I could be wrong. Didn't notice before that that grill was split similar to the 2013 egg crate grill. Sorry, I'm waiting to see it now too since I ordered a non RS 1LE.

Just glad I have my 2011 instead of this refresh! Read somewhere in this post it reminded them of a honda prelude, I would say integra. IF by chance that I won this car as a prize or something along those lines I wouldn't think twice about selling it. Thumbs down Chevrolet!

A new front and rear end are the cheapest means of refreshing the look of the Camaro, but I don't understand the thought process behind some of these choices. Even if a person is a fan of chrome, the choice of a single small strip of chrome on the front fascia just doesn't flow and seems tacked on. Either add more chrome or get rid of it entirely.
The V6 Camaro are a popular choice with the general public so you'd think they would put more thought into its unique look over the SS - why make the lower grille so flat that it no longer flows with the body and looks like it has been in an accident? The rear end just has so much wrong with it, the license plate area and tail lights being the worst offenders. The rear just doesn't fit the design of the rest of the car/the body lines. It is smart to redesign the rear with LED tail lights since that is a given in today's 30k+ cars, but I'll never understand their Honda Prelude choice. If the 69 Camaro was an inspiration, make it look more like that but with LEDs... |
