HELP, I messed up my new wheels
The other day I went through the touchless car wash and it stained my wheels (I didn't know that this was bad for the wheels so plz refrain from criticizing me) I got some of it off with Whenol, Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish, and Mother's Power Ball but some stains are still there. Anyone know what else I can do to get the stains out? I have Polished Aluminum wheels.
Thanks

What kind of staining? I used a local touchless car wash a few times last winter (mines a DD) no stains at all, wheels look just fine. Pics??

come on now... he asked not to criticize him and asked for legitimate help. At the least you guys can do is respect his wishes and try to help him out! (hence the reason why he made the post in the first place)
I dont have an answer for you right off the bat, but i will do some research to help you out and see what i can come up with. Hopefully i can help........

You could try a claybar see if it removes the contaminents. Throw out that piece of clay when done though.
Another option is using goof off. It will strip touch up paint but not factory cured paint.

I use the touchless between real wash/polishes all of the time. I have never experianced this, and I have the same wheels you do.

Don't use those kind of carwashes. The soap many of them use is caustic. If it doesn't get completely rinsed off a polished wheel it will corrode.
Try using some standard aluminum polish compound and a very light cutting pad.

I tried but you can't see the stains in the pics. I don't have a real camera so I had to use my phone. :(

It's milky white and kinda looks like water spots.

If they are water spots, using a clay bar might help.
