My new Red Hot 2SS
Last week I picked up my first Camaro. It is a gently used 2014 2SS with the RS package and L99 engine. It has 1,700 miles. I have had a 350z for the past 6 years and was ready for something new. I was going to go with a 370z but reading the forums, I noticed a lot of the 370 guys were selling their cars to buy a Camaro. I have always like Camaros so I figured I would just skip the 370. I couldn't be happier!
I will update with pictures as I go along. For now I have some photos off the dealer's website. Installed on car. Performance -Roto Fab intake(Dynosteve) -Vitesse throttle controller(Vitesse) -Borla Type S cat back(Apex) -Kooks 1 7/8 headers with off road parts(Dynosteve) -Stage 2 throttle body(Bo White) -Dyno tune(Jannetty) 378rwhp 391rwtrq Cosmetic -40% Tint(J&M Auto Appearance, Berwick PA) -4" Fender Hash Marks(Knuckle Buster Customs, Danville PA) -Z28 grille(Local Dealership, Danville PA) -Retro Fender Emlems(Emblempros) Audio -Kicker 750W RMS Mono Amp(had laying around) -2 Alpine S-Series 10" Subs(Crutchfield) -******** forward facing box(********) Want list. Performace -Better tires -Full Suspension & Brakes -Cams (not sure which ones yet) -And someday down the road, a supercharger. Cosmetic -MRR 228 Wheels Last edited by cp9002; 04-22-2016 at 11:56 AM. Thanks, I couldn't be happier with it. Here is a picture if it with my step-father's 72 Z28 while I was at my parents for a picnic.

I would add 3.91 gears to your want list. They are by far my favorite mod. Awesome car , love it .

I thought about it but I think that 3.91 might be overkill when I get a supercharger.

Congrats on the new car!! That is a real beauty! I love my Red Hot SS L99, and you will too. I was considering new gears too, but decided against it. At least for now... One thing to know, the L99 is already geared pretty low. Use the paddles to put it in first gear and take off. Ask yourself if you really need lower gearing? I did, and the answer for me, is no. Everyone is different and you may feel differently about it. I think my next mod will be a cam and getting rid of the DOD parts.

I love the color on it. You will enjoy the SS from the 350Z you had. You will definitely feel the power difference. Enjoy your new car I love the Red Hot color in the Camaro. I can't wait to see what's next for your car.
