Did he win this weekends event? I'm sure he won the challenge for the year. He has driven incredibly consistent. Congratulations to him and all of the participants. I hope next year I hope I can make more than just one event.
Please post all the winners if you have the info. |

Thanks fellas.
Just got back to the shop a few min ago. Won the shootout this weekend and got enough points to win the points also. I can't say enough about the sportsmanship in this class. It was very cool to have so many guys in the class come up and shake my hand and say congratulations. Its been a long season and the only goal was to make all 4 races. Never thought we would end up winning. The week before the race we were testing and on about the 20th pass of the day, the MIL came on. Got back to the shop and put EFI Live on it, and it was a bad 02 sensor. So that explained why the car slowed down so much over since Atlanta race. First test hit it went 13.34 in 400DA so it was real close once the humidity rolled in. It went out again right before the finals so got real lucky on that round. I knew car didnt have enough in it to run the number. I think the final round was about 4AM so it was a LONG LONG day of racing. BlackFlag Motorsports FTW Going to retire the 5th gen from racing and finish the LSX Real Street Car for next year. Thanks to Granatelli, Mike Lough Race Engines, and Cold Air Inductions.

I need to stay out of this thread and away from the track. Seeing all the guys have a great time with their cars.. REALLY made me want to join the Dark Side. I just don't know enough to know what I need to know. I don't know what I don't know. I was on the fence about running, and at the last minute, decide to watch and enjoy. I had a blast, but knowing how much more fun I would have had ON the track.
It's a slippery slope. I don't want to get the "bug" as it gets expensive, fast..LOL. |
