If the 1LE bar doesn't fit, my guess is it won't, you could get a ZL1 strut brace and try that.

ZL1 strut brace:
"This strut tower brace will fit 2011 coupe Camaros with the strut towers pre-drilled and threaded. This strut tower brace will not fit with factory Camaro hood. The ZL1 hood will need to be purchased."

I was a little disappointed about that too but then realized maybe I'll just get a 1ss 1LE and get a katzkin kit. They are better quality than the factory leather anyway. Cost is about $1k I think.

Also I bought the '12 vert strut bar and painted it white(well actually my neighbors did and surprised me with it). The 1LEs will get the strut bar but it's aluminum finish.
