Granted mine is the LFX engine but I deleted my cats and like the sound. The drone does get kind of annoying. Im trying to find something that will cut out the drone. I am debating between resonated Xpipe or Jpipes.

I enjoyed my miffler delete. I cut off the mufflers about 2" from the weld. Installed 3" pipe from there. I ran about 10000 miles with this and enjoyed the sound drone at 75 was tollerable to my ears. Sounded bad outside but great in the cabin. Since then i added 12" long 3" id bullet style mufflers. Deepend the sound and killed some rasp. Sounds better outside and even better inside. I plan to dump the exhaust behind the wheels some day and plug the holes in the diffuser.

I dont care what it sounds like outside. From the drivers seat at wot is where it counts for me.

Camaroc5's setup that he mentioned above sounds pretty good to my ears. The only way I'd do a muffler delete is with the magnaflow resonated X and J pipes to kill the drone dead.
