ATTENTION...ATTENTION
At this time Crow Cams does not keep in stock billets for this
model car but as demand increases we may add them to our extensive
range of billets in the mean time this cam can be reground to this
Profile depending on profile the cam may have to be HARD FACED (WELDED)
ALL ENGINES
To ensure your camshaft is the correct model for your application place
new cam next to old cam and check the following points
Do the lobes all point the same way
Are the holes or grooves in bearing journals the same
Is the distributor gear the same size and angle and position on camshaft.
Is the fuel pump lobe in the same place on the camshaft

At least it is a sign of hope. Kinda wanted to preserve and keep my stock cams when i got new ones. Really dont want to use mine as the perfomance set. But then......not sure why i would want to go back stock once i have it done.

Cast can be welded. Just requires some extra effort and time to prep and cool. Got to have the equipment to do it or you won't be pleased with the results.

just got this in a email from crow cams......the wheels are turning...

To regrind a set would cost $350 aus(+ $250 if we supply 2nd hand cams for grinding)
The cost of the new cams is not finalised yet so l cant give you a price yet

I was thinking along the lines of welding a draw die for sheet metal stamping dies, for a re-cut of a change to product.

With a traditional hyd roller push-rod motor the hardness is not as big of an issue as an overhead cam application is.

We do regrinds all the time with them since no additional material needs to be added.

I always keeppopular V8 grinds in stock and it is only a 3-5 day turnaround for any custom profile.

Gotta watch and see on this for the LLT......could be promising!
