Just came off a lot - still searching for my match - but I'd say the pictures VRoomapunk just posted are the most representative. I was originally sold on this color - seeing it in person it's significantly darker than many of the pictures posted. Great color - just not as in your face red as I anticipated.

Its got so many different shades, for the most part, it is darker than VR, but in certain light, its even brighter/lighter than VR (more in your face), it never goes flat, always reflective. My ideal color would be CRT but a shade lighter, but given the options on the camaro, I still love it more than anything else. Im a victory red guy, and I feel like 50% of the time, id be happy with VR, but Im happy with CRT about 90% so its a better choice. And I even feel like now after owning a metallic color, that IOM would make me happy like 70%.

I dont think I could go back to a "flat" color, with no flake or without the tinted clear.
Its not for everyone, but I cant stop staring at it.

Agreed. CRT is a sexy color on a Camaro.

I'm still debating too - I feel like I'd be happy with either color. I feel like in some of the pictures it doesn't look red anymore - I'd call it more of a maroon or red wine color.

The first page of this thread - that has pictures at a dealer are more maroon. But then you scroll down and see the picture fresh on the truck and it's bright and vibrant.

I just don't know what color I'd be buying. I posted the Mazda3 pictures you commented on a few days ago Vroom - I feel like my color never looks this maroon color even on cloudy days. So maybe that's why I'm hesitant seeing these pictures.

Having one metallic car under my belt I'd love to love this color - if that makes sense haha

Yeah, it seems as though the asian cars metallic red are a lighter for the most part, like VR with metal flake.

I think a deeper red compliments black better, which between grilles, tires, tint, etc, the car has a lot of black on it.

Ive owned a VR camaro for 6 years and never thought I would buy something else, but this color is really something else. And like I said before, I think Id rather your mazda color on my camaro, but CRT is the closest thing to ur color.

I also think it doesnt have "too" much metal flake in it, to where from far away it looks like straight paint that just glows and pops, but when you get close to it, you can see the flake.

I agree that the red is complimented by the overall build of the car with the grill, tires and eventual tints.

Based on you owning the VR for 6 years and great opinion of the CRT it's at the top of my list. Small flake is a bonus - I always felt like it hid a bit more road dirt and gives you that wow factor when someone gets up close to the car.

Thanks for the advice - I'm sure I'll be interacting you with a lot here as I prepare!

--I just saw you posted a few weeks ago saying you didn't think those dealer pics were CRT either! Glad it wasn't just me!

Ive spent many months, and hours every day on this site before I ordered so feel free to ask any questions!

And I had to order before any camaro had CRT on it, you have the luxury of actually seeing it first so you can make a better decision.

I went out on a limb and was kinda worried until I saw it in person, washed it and really got to see it in all its different hues.

Well come a few weeks (hopefully) I may have the V6 to your V8 haha - looking at beige interior as well. I was originally leaning towards black worrying about stains and upkeep but a few pictures I saw of yours sold me as well

Your pictures have been all too useful!

FYI: The dealer I ran by today was all too misinformed about colors and confused the heck out of me - calling RJT - VR ad VR IOM and such....haha

Yeah, trust Camaro5 over most dealers. I meant to take some more interior pics, ill take some today. The beige is really light, looks so amazing contrasted with the black.

I like grey, but it comes with grey carpet (not as cool as black carpet). All black doesnt have enough contrast, all kinda blends together. I do think I will eventually paint the gold door panels and dash trim, a dark red or maroon, but the gold doesnt look bad at all until then.

I went and saw a camaro CRT last weekend at a dealer. I have seen this color on some clean caddies in the direct sun, by far the best color IMO. but that being said on the overcast days it appears more maroon to me. If the paint was lighter in color
and stayed a bit more that same red as on the cloudier days as it does on the sunnier days all I would say over and over again is OMG.
But this is the nature of the mettalics, I'm leaning towards the IOM but the CRT would be a close second.
