For all you L99/TAPshifters out there (w/ PICS)
So the TAPshift feature on my car works great since my engine isn't one of the 'slow' ones and should be putting down around 320 rwhp.
But anyways, I want to ask a question about how you use your TAPshift. Do you just hold down the gas while you upshift? I know it's quicker like that and that's how I use it mostly. But if you take your foot off the gas while you upshift (like a manual) then push on the gas...well let's just say you'll be glued to your seats! Just want to clarify, it's not for faster times but for occasional fun.

Yes, you can run wide open and tap the button for the upshift when necessary. I would like to add, if your taking your foot off the gas each time you make a tapshift, its going to really slow you down.

I like the pics.
One thing I liked about tapshifting down, is it quickly revs the engine up before engaging the gear. In my truck, it slams the trucks speed down while engaging the gear, so its like you slam hard on the brakes for a second. I think the Camaro's way seems much more sophisticated, plus its cool to hear the engine rev quickly
