I saw like 4 seconds better on Virginia course but did it really do 3 seconds better on Gingerman, nice and unexpected. It also sounds stiff like my car is now, good luck driving on the bad roads in NJ and NY.

Are the 3.91's avallable for the SS

I thrash the hell out of my SS on Road Atlanta as often as possible and I would have bought the 1LE if it was avaialble at the time. 1) I would like to put 3.91's in it and 2) I would like to go to the better wheel bearings. Does anyone know the process and parts involved with these 2 mentioned above?

This guy thinks that with the introduction of the 1LE package, the Camaro lineup for the 5th generation is complete. It may not be perfect in everyone’s eyes…especially not for those still dying to see a “Z28” badge on a Camaro, again…but they’ve got a Camaro for everyone, now: ZL1, 1LE, SS, LT, and LS. Each of these models is thoroughly Camaro. Each of them fills some need in the market, and they’ve all been built by the same people, with the same vision, for the same enthusiasts.

Now the only question you have to answer is: Which one is your favorite?
The 505hp Z28.

Great write up as usual, Joe. You've got a way with word.

Reading this just got me that much more excited that I ordered a 1LE (which I didn't think was possible!) Great write up of the car, and now I'm anxiously awaiting the chance to write my own review!

I love my car but can you fit the monotubes to the 2010 SS? That and 3:91's to get out of the hole would make me much happier.

Great review. If I didn't have a RPO6 SS, or had extra money and a garage I would want this in my stable.

I would expect no less loquacious verbosity from someone named Mr Wyndham

Great job!

Nice review.

It must be quite a car to make an impression like that.
