Good Detailing work in socal!
Recently i started noticing minor scratches and paint chips in my ride. Is there good services around the socal area? Any recommendations welcome.

Where in Socal are you located?
We use couple different places. Alliance Body shop in Costa Mesa and Santini's in Westminster. http://www.santiniusa.com/ http://www.alliancecollision.com/index.html JT |

My entire door was keyed on the passenger side... I took the car to Fountain Valley Auto and Body. They had to take off the front bumper, paint the door and the front fender, clear coat and reassemble. I had the car back in a week and you'd never know it happened. Really nice clean shop, they have been rated best in OC. The work comes with a life time guarantee...
My car is just over a year old but the first thing I did was put 5 layers of hard wax on it over a period of 2 months. I drive on the freeways and haven't got a chip yet. Just say'in. you may want do try that after the repairs are made. I hope it all works out well for you... best of luck! http://fountainvalleybodyworks.com/h...dy_repair.html |

Thanks to CHMSC and Yelp, I checked out Innovative Detailing in Tustin to correct the extensive spiderwebbing that the dealer left in my brand new black Camaro 2SS/RS. There were random deep scratches in the paint as well. I didn't notice them since I examined the car in the shade when I bought it, but they sure stuck out in the sunlight.
I took it over to Dave, the owner of Innovative Detailing. He bent over backward to accommodate my schedule and stayed way past normal closing time to get my car done. He and two other workers pored over my car for about four hours and when they were done, my car was absolutely glowing. Even though it was late in the evening, Dave still took the time to educate me on wash product and technique to keep my paint in perfect condition. Note he doesn't sell any product at the shop, so this wasn't a sales pitch. In fact, he made sure to give me tips to reduce the chance I would need to come back and have him correct my paint. He was also nice enough to send me some photos of the before and after. A few days later, I noticed a few random scratches that were missed in the initial detail. Dave told me to bring it down the same day and took care of them at no extra charge. Now that is service. I can't recommend Dave's shop highly enough. FYI, he recommended I take the invoice back over to the dealership where I bought my 2SS and see what they could do. To their credit, they agreed to pay the whole thing! http://www.innovativedetailing.com Tim Below are some photos. The first photo is what the paint looked like before the correction. |
