Cool Need suggestion for my 2014 1LT RS Camaro new exhaust

Hi everyone, this is my 1st post in Camaro5 forum. And I would like to ask you guys what should I do to make my V6 Camaro sound as mean, as loud, as deep as possible like a true classis muscle car? BTW, I am more interested in the loudness though. This is my priority want. I want to sound super super hyper crazy LOUD!!!

Thank you for all the opinions!! Peace!!Camaro 4 Life.

If you already purchased the car, and your guy is at the dealership, you won't be able to order a new NPP exhaust because they are on backorder with no timeframe of restocking. You'd have to get the dual mode N10 exhaust or NPP off of an already built LT/SS/ZL1.

Also, whatever your new exhaust is, make sure to get an intake also! Will make the car much, much louder.

Don't just delete the mufflers and go on. Man...that usually ends up as a stamp of embarrassment for V6 owners everywhere lol.

If you want it loud, but a lower (overall) tone, and not very raspy...I'd say replace the stock H pipe with a magnaflow resonated X muffler, delete the rear mufflers, and replace with bullet style mufflers and then run it out to some nice looking exhaust tips.

This won't be as loud or aggressive as possible, but trust me when I say it should sound a hell of a lot better than just dumping the mufflers.

I roll with the MRT v2.0, seems pretty popular around here and puts out a deep, aggressive sound with minimal drone.

Does it sound loud? I want a super loud sound! I do like the sound of the MRT 2.0, but I am wandering if it's super loud?

MRT 1.0 is what you want then.

But you've been warned.....the drone will get to you....

I have MRT v1.0 on my 2014 1LT/RS and I love it. Put a CAI on and you get a great sound for a V6.

Do you have a video? I was actually thinking purchasing MRT V1 too, and I would like to hear how does it sound with a CAI. How much the CAI cost and how do you installed it (or where)? And BTW, does the CAI void the warranty, since it adds some HP from what I have heard?? tHANKS MAN~

Yea the V1 is the more aggressive version... As far as an intake, you'll find just about every brand rather than just 2 or 3 people stick to. I have a Volant, it kind of keeps the stock look and works good for me. I've seen a number of people with Roto-Fab and Cold Air Inductions intakes as well that love them.

I'm sure if you see if there is a Camaro meet in FL somewhere, you could meet up with some guys and see what they're running, and maybe even sit shotgun on a test run to see if their modded exhaust sound is up to your snuff. I've done that to a couple people on here and they seem to have appreciated it. YouTube also serves as a saint (as always). Good Luck
