New bling for the garage
Look what my wife got me for my birthday. This month was the the big 50 for me so she thought my gift should be something a little “more special” than usual...man I love her! So...do you have room for another Camaro lovin, perma-grin fool on this site?
We had been seriously looking at Camaros for a few months before we found one. We both liked black interior but my wife thought that black interior, with the small side windows, might make the interior a little “cave like”. So she thought we would really need a sun roof. Sounds like a test drive is in order. The first car we drove had black interior and no sunroof and it was fine. Cool we save 900.00, plus this reverse mohawk is REALLY starting to grow on me. So, ok, CGM 2SS/RS, no roof, 6M (non negotiable, I neeeeeeed my third pedal), black interior...until we saw the gray interior in person. Oh no...I am having decision paralysis again. Pictures do not do that gray interior justice. I thought the two-tone seats looked pert-near sexy but I was not a fan of the light colored carpet. But I remembered another forum member had the same dilemma and they solved their problem with a new set of dark floor mats from Lloyds. Handled! Mine are the Velourtex mats in Ebony. This is my first baby. Bought her new in 79 fresh out of high school. Currently she has an LS7 454, Turbo 400, Ford 9 inch w/4:56. Best run was 11:43 @ 119. A whole lot of good memories tied up in this car!
