CAI, Inc makes one with a chrome looking polished tube, i think its coated so it doesnt look as shiny, but still looks chrome.

The entire box and lid are also made out of same material

I may do something in the future but the K&N is working fine right now and looks good so its ok....Its not my track car. bought it to drive on nice days and turn heads which i think it will do with the addition of the polluter cam Tick Performance installed

I have all the pens to do my stitching, red and blue...but I guess I am unsure 'cause if I don't like it after it is done...well I don't have to tell you where I would be without a paddle!!!
I always thought ours would look good doing the stitching like the 45th Anniversary....

Hey Kurt...thanks for dropping in. Congrats again on COTW. I appreciate it. I still have a bunch of parts to install...just waiting for it to warm up a bit. The stitching was definately a task...just take your time. I think you will like how it turns out. I know I did. Its little things like that, that will stand out. It would definately go with your theme...I have a black, blue, polished, carbon fiber theme going lol.

Well there hasnt been much response so ya know lol. Maybe I am just over excited because its my car. That is awesome. I saw a few pics of your 68...definately a beautiful car. My dad has a 69 that he is going to start restoring soon. I appreciate it and if you want to put a good word on for me for a future COTW I am all for it lol

I know what you mean...I keep pulling it up on my phone to listen lol. I cant wait for next weekend when I can go pick it up. I am dying to drive it. Well if you ever want to take a vacation down here in Myrtle Beach, SC I am more than glad to meet up. The video pretty much has what is done to my car in the description tab. Its an ls3 polluter cam. The springs, retainers, and pushrods were swapped as well. Its stock internal other than that. Has a K&N intake with a ported tb and 1 7/8in headers and 3 inch exhaust by xspower. If you have any other questions just let me know. My car was the first for Tick performance to install the ls3 polluter and they were very impressed with how it performed on my car. As far as Indy...I would love to go but more than likely I wont be able to. Thats just so far away and getting time off is hard at my job.

Hey Kurt, I spoke to them earlier to check on the status of my car and they said that my video had sparked alot of interest for their shop. Martin said he spoke to you so hopefully all works out and they can get you going. they are a great shop and a great group of guys. Very Friendly. I will pm you.
