Washed it and then drove it down to Pigeon Forge, had lots of thumbs up, and comments about how beautiful the car is, and while we were eating lunch at Mel's Diner We saw 2 teenagers go over and take each others picture standing beside the car ....

Put in the CAI intake. WOO HOO! I love it. Really great way to add quicker throttle response and that wonderful throaty roar! Do it!
Also put the CGM bow ties on from garyscustomz.com - I love how they look. |

Took my dad to lunch today. He's 79 and lives about 50 miles away and I don't see him as often as I like. He has often told me high speed stories of his black 58' Impala in his younger days. He lives out in the sticks with long straight quiet roads. On the way back I pushed my 2SS well into 3 digits. Put a smile on his face and he shared some more old Impala stories for the rest of the drive. A day I'll cherish for a long time.

Washed it, applied Meguiars stage 1 and 2, then took it for a mini-cruise on Woodward with my son. Stopped at Duggan's for some grub. I felt very fortunate to grab an easy-in easy-out street parking spot. No worries of door dings. A few fingerprints, maybe.
 Stage 3 after church tomorrow...
