Make sure the sealant cures for 24 hours. Wipe it off, then wax it.

Procedure:

Wash (2 bucket system)
Clay
Wash again
PC (portal cable orbital polisher) with Adams severe scratch remover
PC with Adams haze and scratch remover
PC with Adams machine fine polish
PC with Adams machine sealant
Wax

My wife car had messed up paint with some type of glaze to hide it. When I hit it with the polisher, it jumped out at me and I thought I screwed it up. Took it to some pros and the confirmed its under the clearcoat.

I have a 2011 for a month that has some fine swirl marks. I was thinking of skipping the Severe Swirl step. Looking back do you think you could have skipped this step and just started with the Haze n Swirl Remover?

you probably didn't need 3 levels of polishing. unless the product is poorly made, it's very rare that you need anymore than a deep cut and then a light finishing polish. sealant and then wax is very overrated. next time you can probably skip that step too. it really doesn't add much depth and waxes wear off quite quickly. a good sealant properly put on will last much longer and give you all the depth you need, provided it is a good quality LSP.

Yes, definitely. The paint has a slight orange peel look and I was trying to see if I could smooth it out a bit with the severe scratch remover. I couldn't really see a difference tho.
