I have attached photos of the rubber portion of the "washer" pushed through the front cover seal and a photo of the rubber after removal. I don't have a pic of the entire washer. The other part of the washer is a thin metal ring that would fit between the balancer snout and the crank gear.

From what I see that's your front timing cover seal. Yes it will have to come off and replaced if not it's going to be leaking.

I bet someone suggest the NF.

Also consider you might have to go aftermarket stall with some cams.( Id go circle d but then again its 1 of 1000 opinions you will get) I didn't have to with my cam. But its a custom grind and drove nice and smooth on the stock converter. Numbers below.

If you wanna stay vvt look into rhino79 cams and TSP cans then pick your poison.

Ls3 conversion there's the NF cam and if your a tender foot (jk) then I'd suggest a specd cam from Brian Tooley or Martin Smallwood of Tick performance.

Here's a link if you wanna convert to Ls3. It's not so much as others make it up to be.

Ps I LOVE YOUR AVATAR! Lol
