be honest would you or wouldnt you purchase the car... now knowing your car is considered damaged once you take that bracket off? jc im in this situation where i have to worry about this scenerio possibly playing a role

I would not. When on my way to pick up mine I called twice ( was driving 6 hours ) to make sure they understood no front plate and no tramp stamp dealer sticker.

I think most dealership are aware of this... my dealership wont even install anyone them they just give them to the customer... it comes in the car not on it (; lol

I would refuse. But I think most dealers know not to put ugly license plates on these beautiful cars

Make them replace the front bumper cover! I assume your state does not require a front plate. I've seen states that do require a front plate arbitrarily install them under the assumption that, if you don't display a front plate, you're driving illegally. But, if you told them not to put the plate on, it's their bad....make them pay!

From what I understand most dealerships that reside in a state that needs a front plate by law usually put them on for them to be legal when they leave the lot, however, some dealerships will let it go and not put them on either by choice or instructed by the buyer.

Mine had to plate mount on when I didn't want it on(WI requires front plate) but a trip to autozone and some retainers and SW paint later, you can't even tell it was there really.

It's ultimately your decision to buy or not if it's on, it can always be fixed by you or them...it's just how much work/headache do you want to get it right?

no, my dealer assumed i didnt want it on and jus put the brackets in the trunk
